What one mother put in her school folder

A real folder, shared with permission — and why the two-page summary at the front changed the meetings.

The folder was not thick. Two pages at the front: who her son is, what helps, what does not, and the three goals the family cared about this year. Everything else went behind a divider.

She told us the summary did the work. People read two pages. Nobody reads forty.

We have turned the structure into a template on the tools page. It is not a legal document — it just makes the first ten minutes of a meeting go differently.
