1. Oakland County Parks — Adaptive Recreation
Oakland County Parks runs a Quiet Zone — a sensory-inclusive space with noise-reducing headphones and fidget tools — plus one-hour Adaptive Cycling tours on an adaptive bicycle. A certified therapeutic recreation specialist coordinates the programme and trains staff and volunteers, working with more than 30 partner nonprofits, schools and disabled-sports organisations.
