Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities is the county's access point for eligibility determination and Ohio's Individual Options and Level One Medicaid waivers, with evaluations provided at no cost. It also runs a 14-sport Special Olympics programme for athletes from age 8 and an annual Inclusion Resource Fair connecting families to community programmes.
